It's Labor Day Weekend, the unofficial end of summer. There are a bunch of things going on this weekend. So why not get out and enjoy some of these events.

  • N.Y. State Fair

    New York State Fair is taking place every day through Labor Day with food, rides, animals, exhibits, vendor booths, and Classic Rock on the free stage at Chevy Court. Blue Oyster Cult is playing Friday night at 8 p.m. and the Spin Doctors will play Sunday at 2 p.m.

  • J.C. Field Days

    Johnson City Field days are taking place all four days this weekend at the field on Harry L Drive in Johnson City. With amusement rides, food, entertainment, vendors, and live entertainment. The festival wraps up on Monday with the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Check out their Facebook page for more info

  • Rumble Ponies

    Rumble Ponies wrap up the regular season this weekend at NYSEG Stadium as they play the Hartford Yard Goats for four games starting Friday night. Friday night's game is at 7:05 with fireworks to follow, Saturday's game is at 7:05, Sunday's game will start at 6:35 with fireworks to follow, and the game on Labor Day will take place at 1:05 p.m.

  • Luma Projection Arts Festival

    This Friday night is the annual Luma Festival in downtown Binghamton. It begins at 9 p.m. at Court Street and State Streets. It's free to attend. It uses projection mapping with animation to bring artwork to life on the front of buildings throughout downtown.

  • Car and Motorcycle Show

    The Johnson City Elks Club on Harry L Drive are holding their Annual Car/Motorcycle Show and Junk in Their Trunk Auction. That's taking place Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Their Facebook page has more about the event.

  • Comedy for a Cause

    Saturday night is The Labor of Comedy. 6 comedians doing stand up at Matty B's bar in Binghamton. Showtime is at 9 p.m. money raised will help offset medical expenses for a local man who just underwent heart surgery. Check out more on the Labor of Comedy Facebook page.

  • Antique Truck Show

    The 27th Annual Endless Mountains Antique Truck Show and Flea Market is Sunday starting at 8 a.m. . See all types of antique trucks at the Harford Fairgrounds in Harford Pennsylvania. Admission is $2 Under 12 free there will be food available as well. Everything you need to know about the event is on their website.
