Thursday night is the 34th annual Johnson City Business and Professional Women's Holiday Parade, The parade will start at 7 p.m. at the corner of Lester Avenue and Main St. The parade will head east and turn right onto N. Arch St. where it will end at the corner of N. Arch, and Brocton st.

This is my favorite holiday parade because it happens at night. Endicott's Christmas Parade, which is this Saturday by the way, used to be at night as well, but they moved it to early afternoon.

This parade is awesome because A lot of the floats are decked out in Christmas lights as well as Christmas decorations. So far, we have lights for the Whale Van and we are looking for other decorations to put on it. We also have a couple of bags of candy to share with the little ones at the parade.

With parades comes parking restrictions and road closers. The streets on the parade route will be closed starting at 6:30 p.m.

Parking will be prohibited on Main Street along the parade route from 5 p.m. until the conclusion of the parade, which should take anywhere between an hour and a half to two hours. Cars that are left on Main Street during that time will subject to being towed away at the owner's expense.

The weather for the parade right now isn't looking too bad. WBNG is saying that it should be cloudy with a 10% chance of rain, and the low temperature of 26. So during the parade itself, that will probably be right around 30.

Look for the new Whale rig if you go.

Here is the map of the street closures in Johnson City tomorrow for the parade.
