It's time for Spiedie Fest

The 34th annual Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally takes place this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton. Every year tens of thousands of people from all around the United States and Canada converge on Otsiningo Park for the annual event. Balloonist from all over the United States will fill the Binghamton Skies over the weekend weather permitting. There is so much more to Spiedie Fest than just the balloon launches at Spiedie Fest. There are so many great food vendors there with such tasty treats, it's hard to decide on what to eat. The park is filled with vendors and rides for the kids as well.

Every year, National musical acts fill the stage all three days. This year's musical acts include disco legend K. C. and the Sunshine Band, country music star Phil Vassar, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Cheap Trick. To get inside the fence at the music stage you do need special tickets that you can purchase now at various locations throughout the Southern Tier. Click here to find a ticket location near you. The tickets are $30. and will grant you admission all three days. Regular admission is $5. at the gate, but that won't get you int he concert area. Admission is free on Friday.

Here's what you can expect each day of Spiedie Fest.

Friday 8/3 (Free Admission)

3 p.m.Spiedie Fest opens.

6 p.m. Opening Ceremony and hot air balloon launch (weather permitting)

7 p.m. K.C. And the Sunshine Band concert.

9 p.m. Night Glow

Saturday 8/4

7 a.m. Hot air balloon launch (weather permitting) No gate charge for morning launches.

8 a.m. Sand Volleyball Tournament beings.

10 a.m. Expo area, craft show, food vendors, midway, and auction areas open. Car show begins.

3:30 Harley Davidson Motorcycle Ride arrives.

4 p.m. Katelyn Clampett, Steven Cali, and Phil Vassar concert.
