It amazes me how well some of our aging rockers still perform on stage. How they can keep up that energy for 90 minutes or longer, while entertaining the masses is no less than awesome. Pete Townsend is one of those great artists who just keeps on going, and we're glad he does!

Peter Dennis Blandford Townsend was born May 19th, 1945 in Chiswick, Greater London , England. In the many decades he has been a part of The Who, he's written over 100 songs for the band, including the rock operas 'Quadrophenia' and 'Tommy.' In addition to being a part of eleven Who albums, Pete has seven of his own solo efforts. His most commercial success came from 'Let My Love Open The Door' and 'Rough Boys.'
