It’s Crunch Time for Holiday Shopping

Well, here we are again. Just a few days from Christmas, and I haven't begun to look for gifts.

Typical guy you may say, and you may be right. It's just that I always wait until the last minute to shop. I can't really say why for sure.

Possibly it's because I don't stop to think that there are a limited number of days to get out and shop.

Maybe it's the fear of not being able to find the right gift or gifts for the people on my list, along with the obvious fact that there's only so much money in the bank to spend. I probably think to hard into the type of gift.

Sometimes, the most off the wall type of gift works just fine. You  know, the kind you would find in a Christmas Stocking. Those are the gifts that I like to open on Christmas Day. Even if it's a package of pencils or a pack of socks, I will make good use of them, because, hey, when's the last time I went out to buy socks (and boy do I need new socks) or a pencil (yes I do use pencils.)

Anyway, wish me luck. Time is almost up, and I hope there's something left on the shelves, or everyone on my list is getting fruitcake again this year.
