It’s a Classic Rock ‘Simpsons’ Song Weekend On 99.1 The Whale

It's no secret that one of my favorite sitcoms is Fox's 'The Simpsons.'
After 25 years, it's still a very funny show.
How the writers keep coming up with funny topics every week is just amazing.

I imagine you can do much more with cartoon characters than you can with humans on sitcoms, so that may play a bit into it.
But what do I know - I'm not a TV sitcom writer, and don't know anything about television production.

Anyway, over the past 25 years, there have been a few Classic Rock artists and songs featured on Simpsons episode.
Ok, actually there are a LOT of songs featured, so what a great weekend theme that would make!
Throughout the weekend, we'll play some of those songs and give you a bit of information about the episode in which they appeared.
