I’m Not a Beer Snob

I love beer, but I don't like all types of beer. I like Lagers, Pilsners, and Ambers, and that's about it. I don't want a beer that has fruit in it. I love pumpkin pie and pumpkin rolls but I think pumpkin beer is disgusting. I don't like beers that taste like burnt orange peels. If you have to put fruit in it, I don't want it. Beers that are berry flavored turn my stomach. I agree with Denis Leary, "I want beer flavored beer".

There is nothing better than sitting around a bonfire with friends and having some cold beers on a summer night. But you always have that one friend that brings some "fancy" beers. They always get me to try them and I usually do. I will try a sip of any beer, but most of them don't do anything for me.

I think Stouts taste like dirt and I.P.A.,'s taste like you are eating a raw plant. And Bitters? I think the style's name kind of sums that one up.

I know there are a ton of different styles of beer, many of which I have never tried. I know what I like and I won't be bullied by beer snobs that try and push their crappy tastes off on me. I bet most of them enjoy eating Brussels sprouts too.

Ranker had people vote on The Best Beers in the World. Out of the top ten, there is one I like and two I can drink if there is no other beer to choose from. Other than that, I would rather drink water.
