In case you haven't noticed, the madness that is March basketball has returned with a vengeance. Everyone from true basketball fans to those who know nothing about the sport but are desperate to make a couple extra bucks have jumped on the bracket bandwagon.

When you take into consideration that the odds of nailing a perfect March Madness bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion (per the NCAA), it's safe to say that you're not going to get all your picks right now matter how hard you cross your fingers, or how many wishes you make.

However, there is something that you can do to improve your bracket chances and maybe take home a little bit of money and it's all thanks to computers and math and according to USA Today, a little program called "Hack the Bracket."  Hack the Bracket is an artificial intelligence engine put together by Adobe and it's free for anyone to use.

The way Hack the Bracket works is that you plug in any two teams in the tournament and the program will spit out the probability of each outcome. I'm going to let you in on a little secret- my husband should probably have become a sports statistician because he knows everything about every sport and every sports team. I had Jay help me fill out my bracket for work and then compared his picks with the team Hack the Bracket said would be the winner and every time, Jay's pick was spot on.

If you don't have your own sports statistician in your life, definitely give Hack the Bracket a try. If you're worried about the program being a fraud, I'll leave you with this- in the last five years, Hack the Bracket has made the correct pick 82 percent of the time.
