‘Hotel California’ to be Adapted as Musical

It's official. The most popular Eagles album is getting the musical treatment.

According to Eagles member Glenn Frey, the script for Hotel California is complete and the show is set to open in 2014.
Frey doesn't say where. Broadway or touring is the question.

I hope they don't glam it up as past Rock musicals have done. The album was cool the way it was.
In my opinion, they could've just made a show from the song Hotel California. It definitely would have to be a thriller, though.
