Last night the Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive year. I love hockey and now that the season is over, I'm already looking forward to next year.
The quest for the Calder Cup in the A.H. L. Is still underway with Grand Rapids leading Syracuse 3 games to 2, but without Binghamton in it, I don't really care about that.

I rooted for the Penguins the first two times they won the title, but now, I root against them. I'm a die hard Philadelphia Flyers fan. The Flyers have won the cup twice, and with the Penguins winning their fifth championship last night, that just means the Flyers have even more catching up to do.

I have the NHL package so I get all the hockey games all season. I watch as many games as I can. If the Flyers are playing, I'll have them on one of the TVs in my bar in my basement, and other games on the other TVs. I'll watch any game as long as it's close. So when the season ends, just like when the NFL season ends, I get a little depressed.

I guess I will have to get caught up on all the shows I recorded, and didn't have time to watch.

I'm glad it's summer because you can do a ton of stuff outside, but when it comes to sports, I can't wait until September for football, and October for hockey.
