High Water Worries in Twin Tiers

Some Vestal residents had to be evacuated due to rapidly rising water early July 24 while high water was also reported in Apalachin, Court Street, Binghamton and other areas.

The National Weather Service issued flood watches and advisories. Motorists are cautioned to never drive through water.

A flash flood warning is in effect for the southern part of Tioga County.  A flood warning is in effect for Northern Susquehanna County and north east Bradford County in Pennsylvania.
