I remember seeing the first pictures of Earth from the Apollo missions was I was a kid, I couldn't believe my eyes, compared to the other planets in our solar system this is the Garden of Eden.

I have always wanted to go into space and just look around at the planets, the moon and our Earth.

Since the first pictures of Earth from deep space were taken by astronaut William Anders in 1968, during the Apollo 8 mission, we have been amazed by its beauty and perfection.

If you look at our earth it's a big colorful ball, covered by an atmosphere that you can look through and see the oceans and continents.

NASA and other countries space explorations have released new footage and videos of our planet in high definition.

Check out the amazing HD 'Earth Rise' from behind the moon, and other views of the Earth, along with the Apollo 11 mission that actually landed on the moon for the first time.
