Nine weeks on the top of the U.S. singles chart. Now that's something very few rockers achieve. The Beatles were one of those groups.

It was on September 28th, 1968, Hey Jude took over the number one position. The song was penned by Paul McCartney about Julian Lennon. That made the count of number one hits to 16 for the Fab Four.

It was unusual for a song of this length (over 7 minutes) to make it on the singles charts, not to mention (although I am) make it to the top and stay there for an amazing nine weeks. It has been credited as one of the greatest songs of all time.

For this week's Classic Rock Pick, let's look in on Paul McCartney in 2010, performing an amazing rendition of Hey Jude at Hyde Park in London.
