Happy 73 Jimmy Page

James Patrick Page - Happy Birthday! Jimmy, as we know him best, was born on this day in 1944. His birthplace is Heston, Middlesex, England.

Jimmy learned to play guitar at a young age, and we're glad he did, having gone on to be the guitarist and founding member of Led Zeppelin. It was Mr. Page who brought aboard John Paul Jones, Robert Plant, and John Bonham to form one of the best rock bands in the world.

Backing up a tad, Jimmy did a lot of session work before Led Zeppelin, including being a part of The Who's I Can't Explain, and The Rolling Stones Heart of Stone. He is considered one of the best guitarists of all time.

You know Jimmy's guitar skills have been a major influence on so many musicians from amateur to professional. That's quite an honor to have, and I'm sure his influence will continue for a long, long time.
