Hanukkah Celebrations This Week

This year's Community Hanukkah Celebration will be held this Thursday, December 18 from 5:15 - 7 PM at the Jewish Community Center, 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal.  The cost is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children.

Festivities begin at 5:15 PM with a candle lighting followed by teens who will participate in a torch walk to light the outdoor community menorah.  Then, inside the Community Center, there will be a performance by pre-school children, a Hanukkah video and dinner.

Then on Saturday evening, December 20, the Binghamton Senators will host Hanukkah Night with the Binghamton Senators when the B-Sens host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 PM.  Doors open at 6 PM with Hanukkah games and activities at the main entrance in the concourse.  Following the first period a giant menorah lighting ceremony will be held.
