I’m sure most pets would rather have a treat than to be dressed up in a Halloween costume, but tell that to the Americans that will spend more than 330 million dollars on pet costumes this year. The most popular pet costumes include a Devil, Pumpkin and Witch, but a Princess, Angel and even a Pirate are among the popular choices too.

I don’t know how people get their pets to keep still, or stop them from shaking off the ridiculous apparel.

Just a few precautions if you’re dressing up your poach or kitty in some kind of get up, be aware that costumes with ties, belts that may fasten tight could lead to injury or even strangulation of your pet, so you should never leave a pet unattended in those situations.

Also be aware of costumes that have small parts that a dog could chew on and maybe choke or ingest that could lead to a life threatening situation.
