My friend Joe is a guy I used to work with in my hometown when I was working in the restaurant industry before getting into radio. We also played little league together.

Joe's birthday is in October, and every year he holds a Halloween party at his house. This past Saturday, Chris and I dressed up and went to the party. It was only my second time going to his Halloween party and we had a great time.

Only about half the people that showed up where in costume. But Chris and I brought our costumes with us and stopped at my sister's house in Carbondale to get changed. We didn't want to drive all the way down from Binghamton in our costumes.

We got to see a lot of people at the party that I haven't seen in years. And for the most part, we spent the night in his backyard drinking around a huge bonfire. I brought a taste of Binghamton with us. We brought a Spiedie sheet pizza with us. It was the first time a lot of the people there had Spiedies.

There was a ton of food and a ton of drinks, including a bunch of different homemade wines that we were passing around the campfire. Halloween parties are fun especially with cool friends, and I think they are even better if you dress up to get in the spirit of the holiday.

Chris won a prize for most original costume, I won a prize too, but I think that's just because I dressed up. Check out our pictures here.
