It's time for the snow to go because Spring is here and it's time for the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park to open it's 143rd season. Good news, it'll be here on April 21st.

It's your chance to see all the upgrades, projects and probably most importantly the animals that have been born or were acquired since the zoo was open last. The Binghamton Zoo can't wait to show off their "babies" from last season: Rowan the red panda, Spike the prehensile-tailed porcupine and Magus and Riley, the coyotes.

Also new this year is the community rock painting session during their grand opening. On April 21st, you can paint a rock that will be put in the zoo, come back and see if it's still there. You can bring your own rock or the paint, supplies and rocks will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Get there early before the supplies run out.

Would you like to be a member of the Binghamton Zoo? Go here and enjoy all the benefits including a special Members Only Night on Saturday, April 28th from 5-7 p.m.

You can still visit America's 5th oldest zoo on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton. Come and see what's new at the zoo.
