Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring

Goodbye Winter.
Can't say we hardly knew you.
We got to know you all too well, and that's not a good thing.
That is, unless your a 'Winter-type' person.
If you ski, snowboard, snowmobile or like to do the polar plunge in the dead of winter, then you had a great season.
For the rest of us, not so much.

Lots of snow, too many very cold days, slipping and sliding on ice, shoveling and every other part of winter was just too much.
Am I just getting too old for this?
Maybe.

When I retire (yea, right) maybe I could become one of those 'snow-bird' people.
You know, winter in a warm climate, and head back north when it gets warm again.
Sounds like a good plan, right?

Anyway, there are no tears today for the end of winter.
Why?
Because you know it's only 6 months away from happening all over again.
I suppose that's cause for a tear or two.
