Go Away Winter, Let’s Think Spring

Let's talk about what we get to look forward to...soon! First, the annual Binghamton St. Patrick's Parade is this Saturday, and that's always a celebration of Spring being not far off. Of course The Whale will be in the parade!

This Sunday, we move clocks ahead one hour as we head into Daylight Savings Time. Meteorological spring has already begun (March 1st.) March 20 through the 22nd, we're bringing back the Binghamton RV & Camper Show at the Binghamton University Events Center. If you know me, you know I can't wait to get back to camping season, and this is a fun event to wander through all those new fifth wheels, RVs, travel trailers and pop-ups.

We're also excited for the return of the 2014 Eastern League Champion Binghamton Mets. The home opener is Thursday April 16th at NYSEG Stadium. For those of you in college, Spring Break is almost here. Maybe a trip to the South is in order?

No matter how tired we are with this nasty Winter, rest assured Spring is almost here.
