The New York Giants will try and notch a win, when they host Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, coverage begins at 12 noon on 99.1 the Whale.

Last week's loss to Dallas with 7 seconds left in the game was a hard pill to swallow, especially since the Giants should have won, but the game is 60 minutes, and a combination of bad clock management, and a collapse on the defensive end allowed Tony Romo to hit Jason Witten on the goal line, to send us home 0 and 1.

This week the Giants will try and stop the Falcons high octane offense, which includes one of the biggest passing threats in Julio Jones.

The Giants secondary will once again be tested, and the pass rush needs to put pressure on QB Matt Ryan, taking him out of his rhythm.

On the other end the Giants offensive line needs to give Eli Manning time to find his receivers, they also need to control the line for some kind of running game.

I think we all know what needs to be done, but the players have to do it.

It's still a long season, but being 0 and 2 would really suck.

Catch all the action Sunday, starting with the pre-game show at 12 noon, and keep it here after the game for coach Coughlin’s press conference and team interviews, on your station for NY Giants Football, 99.1 The Whale.
