The New York Giants collapsed on Monday night with an embarrassing, 27-7, loss to their NFC rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Eli Manning and the offense started out with an 80 yards drive touchdown, the defense held the Eagles 3 and out on their first possession, and Eli was leading the team down the field on their second possession for what looked like another touchdown. He was 10 for 10 when he passed the ball to Larry Donnell, who caught the ball, but had it wrestled away by Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryan.

The Giants defense had the Eagles stopped, but a roughing the passer call gave them a new set of downs. Ultimately this kept the drive going ending in a touch down drive and tying the score at seven a piece.

That's basically when the crap hit the fan. The Giants team couldn't do anything right - interceptions, penalties including running into the kicker when the Giants were about to get the ball back, and no protection for Eli.

Coach Coughlin said it best, "You can't play like that, that's bad football."

I don't think you could have scripted a worse loss. Honestly, from my arm chair quarterback position, this was the only real game they legitimately lost this season so far.
