The Giants have missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year, and once again fans will have to wait for a new season to see their team play again.

The exception will be this Sunday's Pro Bowl in Honolulu, which will feature four of  Big Blue standouts, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., quarterback Eli Manning, cornerback Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie and kicker Josh Brown

This past season was a series of disappointments that started with two games the Giants  should have won, from my arm chair they allowed Tony Romo to march right down the field and score in the season opener, and Eli coughed up the ball in the red zone when the Giants were about to score and repeated the blunder in game two against the Falcons.

In retrospect, if they won those two games, they would have made the playoffs..

Two keys to the Giants lack of performance this past season, the offensive line, and the lack of a pass rush against the opposing teams.

The rest of the season was painful to watch but most of us did, because we are loyal fans.

Tom Coughlin is gone, and we begin the Ben McAdoo era, there will be more changes to the Giants coaching staff along  and team adjustments after another sub par season.

Eli Manning actually had a pretty good year so look for him to be focused in the upcoming season.

Enjoy the summer we'll pick things up in August with more Giants Sports Raps.

I am a die hard New York Giants fan and throughout my life time I have seen the Giants go to five super bowls, winning four of them! I don't think any of them were as magical as the 2007 and 2011 runs, seeing as how we were wild card underdogs each week during those playoff runs, but we kept winning and our opponent for both Super Bowls, Tom Brady and the Patriots (heh heh heh).
Giant fans, take a few minutes and check out some highlights from our last Super Bowl.
