The New York Giants let another victory slips through their fingertips with a devastating 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

Once again another lead with minutes remaining in the game and the Giants couldn't stop the opposition from marching down the field and scoring.

I think this was the 6th game the Giants lost when they were winning with less than two minute in the game, yet another disappointing game and most likely another season this team goes home after 16 games.

I have to say that although the team has been banged up most of this season, the play calling is equally banged up, which is to say it doesn't make a whole lot of sense at times.

The Giants went out and made improvement in the defensive secondary before the start of this season, but they failed to improve on their defensive line, so by the fourth quarter the pass rush is completely deflated and the opposing quarterback has enough time to take a nap before he finds an open receiver.

I have to say that the coaches have made some really poor decisions on play calls and clock management that have greatly attributed to the close games the Giants have lost this season.

This will be the 4th consecutive year the Giants will not make the playoffs, and although they are not mathematically out of this years race, I don't think we' stand a chance of making it back to .500 this year.

What a complete disappointment to the fans of this team.

The New York Giants will face another AFC East team on Monday night as they travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins.
