I said in my last blog that the Giants can play the role of spoilers and knock the Cowboys out of first place, but the tables turned and the Cowboys officially knocked us out of the playoffs.

On a night when Odel Beckham Jr. had an unbelievable catch and the Giants front line played one of their best games this season, Big Blue lost on a reversed review call of a first down with less than 30 seconds on the clock.

I look at two key things that cost us the game. One was Eli's interception in the red zone which resulted in a 14 point turnaround. Second was the amount of time the Giants defense gave Tony Romo to find an open receiver on the Cowboys last two offensive plays of the game that resulted in the go ahead score.

Once again the opposing team didn't beat us, we beat ourselves.

Lets hope the Eagles beat the stuffing out of the Cowboys on Thanksgiving night!

The Giants travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars this Sunday. Catch the game beginning with the pregame show beginning at 12 noon on your station for New York Giants football, 99.1 The Whale.
