Eli Manning threw 2 TD passes in the 4th quarter, but it was too little too late, as the Washington Redskins hung on to beat the Giants 20-14.

The game started right off with an Eli Manning three stooges interceptions, all it needed was an eye poke and the Curly signature 'Nuk Nuk Nuk' as the ball bounced off three people and landed in the arms of a Washington defender.

I did not expect the Giants to be so flat, considering the way the offense has been playing the past few games, and then to go scoreless for three quarters.

Coach Coughlin said it best, ' Should a, Could a, Would a' and this game was filled with that.

Eli Manning, who had very limited protection from a banged up offensive line, threw 51 passes and the offense only ran 13 running plays, which is the tale of the tape.

Maybe I'm too close to this team, but it seems like this is the same scenario they have faced over the past few years, injuries creating weaknesses that are exploited by the opposition.

It's also the same scenario they faced at least 4 other times this season, games they could have won if they played just a step better.

The NFC will have no wildcard, and the Giants have the Jets, Dolphins, Panthers, Vikings and Eagles to finish out the regular season.

I wasn't impressed with Washington either, the Giants only needed a field goal in those first three quarters to be up in the final seconds, and they blew it.

Giants and Redskins are both 5 and 6, and I don't feel comfortable with this situation, I think the Giants will finish below 500 at 7 and 9.

Teams lose, but this team loses like none others that I've seen.
