The New York Giants  finished the regular season with a 19-10 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Big Blue will face the Green Bay Packers next weekend in the NFC Wildcard game.

The Giants defense came through again holding Washington to 284 total yards, (38 yards rushing) and three turnovers, the last one  coming with seconds on the clock, resulting in a Giants touchdown with time expiring .

The Giants has another good running effort with five rushing first downs and a total of 161 yards on the ground. Big Blue controlled the time of possession with 35:52 (Washington 24:08)

The Giants wrapped up the fifth seed in the playoffs last week, but did not know who their opponent would be until the Packers knocked off the Lions on Sunday Night.

The Giants will play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

I'm glad we didn't have to go to Seattle, but Green Bay is on a six game winning streak, so this will not be an easy game for the Giants.

Eli Manning and the Giants offense could use a little more scoring, but the Big Blue Defense is playing at a much higher level than they were at the start of the season, but they'll need to eat up the clock with another efficient rushing performance to keep Aaron Rodgers and the Packer offense off the field.

Wild Card Weekend will feature  Saturdays games Raiders at Texans at 4:35pm followed by Lions at Seahawks at 8:15pm, and Sunday Dolphins at Steelers at 1:05pm.

The 5th seed New York Giants will travel to Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon to take on the 4th seed Green Bay Packers, coverage begins at 3:35pm on 991 The Whale.
