New York Giants Broadcast on 991 The Whale
The New York Giants will host the league leading Dallas Cowboys in a huge Sunday Night NFC Divisional matchup, coverage begins at 7:30pm on 991 The Whale.
The Giants are coming off their first loss in seven games as they face a team that has won 11 straight, Big Blue will have to play perfect football to have a chance to win.
The Giants defense have done a good job against opponent, but they’ll have to do it without Jason Pierre Paul who will miss at least 6 weeks with hernia surgery.
The Giants offense has not been good, and a big reason is the offensive line and the lack of protection they give Eli Manning.
Penalties on the O-Line has hurt the Giants, and the inability to help with a running game forces many 3 and outs.
Eli and his receivers have to get on track and keep drives going to wear down the Dallas defense, look for big games from Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr.
The Dallas Cowboys have three of the best receiving hands in the league with Cole Beasley, Jason Witten, and Dez Bryant, not to mention Rookies RB Ezekiel Elliott and QB Dak Prescott
The one thing you can count on as a Giants fan is not counting on anything, it seems like when we’re at our worst we somehow find a way to step up and win.
I have a sinking feeling that actually started before the Steelers game last week about the Giants playoff hopes, right now they are the first wildcard, but with four games left they need to win to keep pace with the other teams knocking on the door, I don’t see them winning the division, so it will have to be a wildcard berth to get into the playoffs.
Dallas has been winning games, but they haven’t played any real great teams hitting their stride, my feeling is they will get knocked out in the playoffs.
It’s football in December with a playoff feel, a Sunday night matchup, Giants vs Cowboys.
Catch all the action with Bob Papa and company starting with the Pre-Game show on Sunday beginning at 7:30pm, and keep it here after the game for head coach Ben McAdoo's press conference and team interviews on your station for NY Giants Football 991 the whale.
