On Friday I made the statement that the Philadelphia Eagles always make us pay for our mistakes, and I'm sure they would have, if it weren't for the fact that we punished ourselves enough without their help, and walked away with an embarrassing 27 to nothing loss.

Let's start with the Giants offensive line, they clearly took a flying leap back to week one, allowing 5 sacks on Eli in the first half alone, along with giving him no time to set up anything, and no lanes for the running game.

The Giants D looked like a rookie squad at times, allowing Eagles QB Nick Foles to pick apart the field, scoring on 4 of their  first 5 possessions.

If things couldn't get worse it looks like we have lost Victor Cruz for the season, as he went down in the third quarter with a torn patellar tendon.

This was a test for Big Blue and they failed miserably with both the Eagles and Dallas winning, the Giants( 3 and 3) are now the number 3 team in the NFC East just above the 1 and 5 Redskins.

The Giants have their hands full and will look for an answer as they face the 5 and 1 Dallas Cowboys on the road this Sunday.

Don't panic, a win in Dallas would make things interesting once again.
