Watching hundreds of soldiers of the Army's 82nd and 101st Airborne divisions jump out of a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft is a great way to get yourself fired up for the end of the work week! I had the pleasure of working with both the 82nd Airborne Division (based out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina), as well as the 101st Airborne Division (based out of Fort Benning, Georgia). They are some stand-up (and controlled fall-down) guys. These static line drops were out to Sicily Drop Zone at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville "Fayette-nam", North Carolina.

This video is all well and good as it is, but you know what would make it better? Blasting the Star Spangled Banner, or some Lynyrd Skynyrd /Creedence Clearwater Revival in the background. Don't you agree?

"Airborne all the way!"
