9. The most effective cure for hiccups according to doctors? Inserting a finger into someone's rectum.  It's the top recommended treatment for when a case of hiccups seems incurable. it is also the least used!

10. The most famous scene in the movie The Shining, where Jack Nicholson chops a door with an ax and sticks his head through while saying "Here's Johnny!" took 3 days to film and 60 doors!
