Founding Fathers of Classic Rock Weekend

Father's Day is this Sunday. I know that because all my calendars say so. Not much gets by me when I have a calendar nearby.

During our weekly weekend theme meeting, Jim Free and I, who both don't have kids, were doing our usual 'what kind of music theme weekend should we come up with' brainstorming session. It's never an easy answer.

But there it was, as we were staring at a calendar, that this is Father's Day weekend. So how about a bit of a twist on the weekend theme, and call it a Founding Fathers of Classic Rock Weekend?

Basically, throughout this weekend, we will highlight the music from rock artists who in one way or another, helped shape what rock music became. Most of those artists are in a band, so we will play songs from said band, or if they are solo artists...well, you get the picture.
