A former Town of Union Councilman, who also served on the Johnson City School Board and was a co-founder and Giants Coach for J.C. Pee Wee Football has passed away.

The obituary placed by his family says Michael “Mickey” Arcangeli died January 19.  He was 88.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints National Catholic Church on Harry L. Drive January 27 with family receiving friends starting at ten and followed by a mass.

In addition to his work in serving the community, Arcangeli owned and operated the Village Inn.

In lieu of flower, the family request a donation to All Saint National Catholic church, 42 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, New York 13790 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, New York 13204.
