The best thing about having and A.H.L. team in your town is that you get to see the future stars of the N.H.L. up close and personal as they sharpen their skills.

The Binghamton Senators have had over 100 players that have made it to the N.H.L. Even though this year was the final year for the baby Sens here in town, over the last 15 years we have seen some very talented players.

Great play from former B-Sens Erik Karlsson, Chris Wideman, and Mike Hoffman, just to name a few, are the reason the Ottawa Senators lead the Boston Bruins three games to one in the best of seven series. The Sens could wrap of this series and move on to the next round with a win at home tonight.

Former B-Sens are even helping other teams in this years playoffs. Former B-Sen alum Mika Zibanejad had the overtime game winning goal for the New York Rangers last night.

The N.H.L. Playoffs are awesome, but it's even more awesome seeing players who called Binghamton home, even for just a little while, playing for a chance to make history.
