Are you ready for our weekly trip with The Whale's Classic Rock Time Machine? Well, hop in and let's go!

This week, we're traveling back to this date (February 18th) 1978. If my memory serves correctly, it was the year I began working part-time at WAAL, the first time around. There was a lot of great music coming out of the studio speakers including bands and artists like Queen, Eric Clapton, The Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen and Foreigner.

It was on this day in 1978 that Foreigner's Long, Long Way From Home peaked the US singles chart at the number 20 mark. The song was the 3rd single off the album of the same name, after Feels Like The First Time and Cold As Ice.

Enjoy today's Classic Rock Throwback Thursday choice, Long, Long Way From Home performed in concert back in 1978.
