Cold and Flu Season in Binghamton
When my wife got home from work yesterday I could tell she wasn't feeling well. She's got a massive cold. Her cold has been getting progressively worse since Tuesday.
There are definitely a few things going around the Binghamton area, and she's not the only person I know who has been sick lately. When she got home, she had some soup and laid down on the couch for a little while. Then about an hour later, she decided to just go to bed. I checked on her from time to time last night, even making her a couple of cups of tea with lemon and honey. She was still in bed this morning at 4:30 as I was leaving to come to work. She's off from work today so I don't know if she will get out of bed at all.
As I was driving into work this morning this thought crossed my mind. If you're going to get sick at some point during the year, now might not be a bad time to have it happen. With wind chills around 35 below, you don't want to go outside anyway. So you might as well suck it up and stay in bed. Hopefully, you'll feel better when the temperatures warm up next week.
