Last week two young ladies from the Binghamton Ross Park Zoo brought in a little fennec fox by the name of Sierra and I was lucky enough to get to pet her. Whenever I see an animal, I instantly turn into a five year old version of myself.

So what the heck is a fennec fox? They are the smallest foxes in the world and normally live in the Sahara Desert. Fennec's have huge ears to help keep them cool in the desert sun. There are two of them at the Binghamton Ross Park zoo and they remind me of a cross between a cat and a dog. I need one! Make sure to go check out these beautiful creatures and help support your local zoo!
