Tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, is the 6th annual Lick Breast Cancer Music Festival and Ice Cream Social at the Pines Pavilion Events Center, Route 26 in Endicott.

It is an all day family-friendly party to raise awareness and funds to help those battling breast cancer. The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs for 12 hours straight. The event is held rain or shine because there is a huge tent that the bands will playing underneath and there's enough room for everybody to fit under there as well.

The Pines Pavilion also has that covered patio with picnic tables and the bar attached and you'll be able to get food and sit under there for shelter as well. That is if it does rain tomorrow.

The bands that are scheduled to play include Heritage, Last Call, The Bro Bros, Hating Amy, Kick Start, The Messy Truth, Tijuana Danger Dogs, the Kiil, The Tim Ruffo Band, The Egomaniacs, and Wreckless Marci.

Besides the music, there is a bunch of stuff for the kids as well. Including a dunk tank, face painting, a bouncy house, balloons and more.

Chris and I attended this event every year for at least a couple of hours, and I'm always blown away by the awesome prizes they have to raffle off. They will have a huge tent full of tables that are just covered with baskets that you can buy raffle tickets for.

Admission is just $10 at the door with children under 12 free. All the money raised goes to benefit women suffering from breast cancer.

Hopefully the weather will be beautiful tomorrow, but again if it's not, the bands are under the tent and the beer is under the pavilion, so you will have plenty of places to stay dry and enjoy yourself.
