Excuses Bad, Exercise Good
914 Calories. That’s what I burned this morning by utilizing the stair stepper at Planet Fitness on the Vestal Parkway.
914 calories. That equals 8-Fit and Active Wild-berry Sorbet Bars from Aldis.
914 calories = 13 double stuff Oreo cookies.
914 calories = 2 Mc Donald’s double cheeseburgers.
OR…. you can save those calories for your weight loss goals for the week.
914 calories in exercise a day for four days equals 3656 calories, or the burning of one plus pounds of fat per week.
Okay, so you are not a member of a gym, or can’t do the stair stepper yet. You can still get fit and active and burn calories for your weight loss goal.
Walking for 30 minutes a day equals 313 calories burned. Find 30 minutes a day of ‘wasted’ time, and walk, and that would be a 1565 savings for your weight loss regimen. translation, walk five days a week for 30 minutes a day, and in two weeks you lose a pound of fat.
Some people say that they don’t have the time to exercise. I’m here to say that you probably do. If you find yourself with the TV on, and not paying attention to what’s on that channel, then you have time to walk. If you watch every single newscast on the tele from 5 to 7pm, you have 30 minutes to get in shape. If you are watching cartoons and you are over the age of 12, you have time to hoof it for health.
Remember, excuses don’t help you lose weight, exercise does.
