The Binghamton Aeros are hosting their annual Giant Scale RC Air Show and National Model Aviation Day Event. The skies over the Chenango Bridge Airport will be filled with giant sized RC planes of all kinds. You will see planes of all types from vintage bi-planes turbine powered jets. Some of the aircraft are as much as half the size of the real plane. Many skilled pilots from all over the Eastern US and Canada will take to the skies with their giant flying works of art. The flying is virtually non-stop for both days.
Food and refreshments will be available both days. Time Flys hobbies with be on site with some great deals. Several local sponsors have donated some great prizes that will be raffled off in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. You can also enter to win a brand new 50" flatscreen HDTV. There will also be some RC flight simulators setup so that kids of all ages can try their have at flying an RC plane. There will be lots to do and see. Bring a chair and spend the whole day!
