Authorities say another arrest has been made in an assault and robbery investigation in Endicott.

According to village police, 18-year-old Brandon Jefferson of Hill Avenue, Endicott, was charged with second-degree robbery on Thursday. The arrest was related to an incident that happened more than four months ago.

Detectives say Jefferson was taken into custody by police while he was walking in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

Investigators say Jefferson was charged in connection with a March 28 robbery of a 26-year-old man who had been walking in the 1600 block of Watson Boulevard.

Police say several people assaulted the man and then took property from him. They did not say whether the man sustained serious injuries or whether he was taken to a hospital.

Detectives say Jefferson is the second person arrested in the case. They did not say whether they expect others will be arrested in connection with the investigation.

Jefferson was arraigned and sent to Broome County Jail without bail
