The year was 1980. I had just moved to Elmira from Binghamton. Why? All for a girl. Well, ok, it was because I was offered a job at another radio station for a whopping thousand dollars more a year in salary, and a chance to get back closer to home.

Sounds good, right? Well, that only lasted 2 years, and I was ready to get back to the big metropolis of Binghamton. Back to the topic at hand. In 1980, The Rolling Stones had a little album out titled 'Emotional Rescue.'

This album hit the number one spot on many charts around the globe, including a seven-week residency on the US charts. The songs that helped make this album so successful include Dance, She's So Cold, All About You and the title track, Emotional Rescue.

For this week's Classic Rock Pick, enjoy Mick and the Boys performing Emotional Rescue many years later in concert.
