Rage Against the Machine was formed in 1991 as a rap metal band based out of Los Angeles, California.

Rage consists of Zack De La Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello, and Brad Wilk. The band has four studio cd's and while they no longer make new music after their break up in 2000, they have been known to do the occasional show.

De La Rocha has been working on solo projects since their breakup and the rest of the band went on to form the group Audioslave with Chris Cornell, formerly of Soundgarden.

Rage is one of those bands that in a time where many artists sound the same, stand out as individuals. They are unlike any other group I've known and stand in a class all of their own. Give a listen and let me know what you think below.
