Eclectic Rock Pick of the Week: Consider the Source

Consider the Source is a three piece band including Jeff Mann on drums and percussion, John Ferrara on bass and Gabriel Marin on double necked guitar and fretless chaturangui. The New York City based instrumental trio has been touring the United States since 2004 and has also performed in the Middle East as well as Europe.

I have been fortunate enough to see the band perform several times while at college in Oneonta and will be going this weekend to see them at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse on Saturday. Check out their unique style which infuses a wide variety of genres from Turkey, Bulgaria, India, and jazz.
