Eclectic Rock Pick of the Week: AWOLNATION

I was introduced to AWOLNATION about a year and a half ago by a close friend who knows the keyboardist and I am still listening to their "Megalithic Symphony" cd with regularity. The American electronic rock band is fronted by Aaron Bruno who writes all of the music and most of the instruments on the album. Their unique sound brought them attention with the single "Sail" which has been used in various commercials, games, movies and events. "Sail" reached number 10 on the U.S. Billboard Rock Songs chart providing them with some much earned recognition.

While "Sail" is their most well known song, I would strongly suggest checking out the entire album seeing as all of the songs are quite unique and different. I strongly recommend listening to "Kill Your Heroes"  and "Jump On My Shoulders," two of my personal favorites. Let me know how you feel about their sound below!
