Eclectic Rock Pick of the Week: Papa Mali

I just discovered Papa Mali a few weeks ago and loved the first song I heard instantly, which happens to be the one below. Papa Mali is from Shreveport, Mississippi and now lives in New Orleans. He started playing guitar at the age of four and hasn't stopped since! Papa Mali is not only a guitarist but a singer, songwriter and producer as well. He is a member of 7 Walkers which included Bill Kruetzmann of the Grateful Dead, George Potter Jr. and Matt Hubbard.

As you can tell from listening, Papa Mali has a lot of blues, funk, and reggae influences in his music. Let me know what you think and enjoy!
