Easy Weight Loss Tips: Spice it up with Salsa
Weigh In Day… YEA!
5 Big Wally Lbs have gone AWAY!
Big Wally is back on track, he feels great and he’s gonna win this! At least that what I wrote last week last week and I meant it!
Let me start by saying that I was very diligent about logging everything I ate, and all my exercise, in my own personal health diary at (www.myfitnesspal.com) . I also threw the chocolate and cookies out the window.. It was time to get serious!
Myfitnesspal.com is actually kind of like my own personal “health” coach. It’s got all kinds of info to help you reach your ‘Goal Weight.” It’s free, it’s easy and when you get their, go to blogs and search ‘Big Wally losers Club.’ We have a few members helping each other out, and we could use a few more.
So here’s my helpful diet tip of the week. ‘SALSA!’ I put it in and on everything. I used it as my pasta sauce, I put it on things like my ‘Southwest chicken wrap” that is in the picture. It goes on baked potatoes instead of butter or sour cream, and it goes in my tuna sandwiches instead of mayonnaise.
AND IT’S ONLY 10 calories for 2-tablespoons!
Before you guffaw at it, try it! In tuna most people turn up their nose at it, but all you need is something to bind and dampen the tuna. This works great and it tastes wonderful!
Also… get out and walk! I HAVE... at least 30-minutes a day for 5 days during the last week. I feel great and it HELPS!
Southwest Chicken Wrap
1) Mission Burrito Shell
2) Pre-cooked chicken breast (no bone or skin)
3) Taco seasoning mix
4) Hot Sauce
5) Medium Salsa
I took one precooked boneless-skinless chicken breast, (I broiled it with taco seasoning mix a couple days before) cubed it and put in a microwave dish.
Added hot sauce to taste, heated it and then put it in the Burrito Shell. Added two tablespoons of salsa, folded and ate. Yumo!
