Two Johnson City men and a man from the Bronx are facing drug charges after New York State Police say they found a hidden compartment in a car stopped at 2:53 p.m. June 4 in the area of the Route 17 West on-ramp from Airport Road in Johnson City.

Troopers say that compartment contained 2 ounces of powdered Fentanyl and 23 strips, 3.5 of powder heroin, Oxycodone tablets 1 Suboxone strip and less than 25 grams of marijuana.

27 year old Coren Walker of the Bronx, 40 year old Scott Layton of Johnson City and 24 year old Giovanni Foster of Johnson City are charged with four counts each of felony drug possession and one count each of misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.  Layton is also charged with the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.

In addition to the drugs, Troopers say they also found a digital scale, drug packaging material and $5,945.

All three were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
