In April of 2017, Binghamton's City Council passed a resolution stating that Binghamton will be a city that will welcome both refugees and immigrants and to celebrate, the All Nations Celebration will take place on Saturday, September 16th.

The All Nations Celebration will start at 11am at the Binghamton City Hall on Hawley Street in downtown Binghamton where local politicians will give speeches, as will representatives from the American Civic Association.

A parade will follow the kick off at noon from City Hall to the American Civic Association on Front Street. The public is encouraged to participate in this parade by wearing traditional dress and carrying their country of origin's flag.

The American Civic Association will provide entertainment and sell food and drink at the conclusion of the parade.
