Doug’s Sports Rap:Syracuse Orange Rolling Down Hill?

It’s been a complete unraveling of a team that was the nations best just a few weeks ago. The Orange of Syracuse have lost 5 out of the last 7 games after 25 straight wins.

How can this happen?  Have they lost focus? Are other teams more determined to dominate? We can speculate all we want but the big question, how far can they go in this big NCAA Tournament?

The Orange (27-5) have the #3 seed as they go against #14 seed Western Michigan in the second round of the South Region of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday in Buffalo, N.Y.

Last Fridays ACC tournament against North Carolina was another nail biter in which Syracuse forced a few turnovers late in the game and set them selves up to tie the game and force over time.
